Travel Troupe

We are building our Travel Troupe!!

We are looking for interested 12-19 year olds that are willing to learn the skills to make a great crew!

We will be building our team with interested members that have participated in our productions and workshops.

Once we are ready we will set out to do performances at libraries, schools, and community venues.

Contact Michigan Youth Theater and become a member today!

These are a few of the programs our Travel Troupe has done in the past and are working towards doing in the future:

Performances Suitable for Younger Ages (PreK-2)

American Folk Tales and Legends - "Little Burnt Face", "How Butterflies Were Made", and "The Twist Mouth Family" are only a few of the traditional and Native American tales brought to life by young actors. Music and audience participation make this a fun, fast paced performance to get kids excited about reading, history, and live theater.

Clever Girls of Every Age - Tales from a girl's point of view

Remember the Ladies - Tales about women in History

Arsenic2

Performances Suitable for Older Ages (Ages 10 & up)

Shakespeare is Fun! - An introduction to great literature can be FUN! Young actors playfully highlight Shakespeare as performance, proving that with Shakespeare, the play's the thing!

Julia - Based on the themes of Julius Caesar this show is an interactive performance.  It that helps the audience answer the questions: How do you know who your true friends are? Who do you betray -- your friends or yourself?
